NO REGRETS! I just saw a picture of a tattoo that went all the way down a persons’ arm that said “NO REGRETS”. When I think about that saying, I think about no limits and not being afraid and working to accomplish my dreams. I think about looking at opportunities given to me and taking them and trying new things and being free-spirited and happy. Read More
My God is bigger than man.
Psalm 56:10-11 says “In God, whose word I praise, in the Lord, whose word I praise – In God I trust; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?”
Have you ever been in a hurry to get to a destination and you are stopped by sudden traffic? I hate that. It seems that you are crawling at a snail’s pace – or maybe the snail is crawling faster. A few years ago my husband and I were on our way home from a weekend trip in Gatlinburg, TN and we got caught in a 4-hour traffic jam from a semi trailer chemical spill. We were at almost a complete stand-still for 4 hours. People were running out of gas and pulling off the side of the road. Last night I was driving home in the storm and I could not see clearly at all. The lines on the road were invisible. The rain was pounding on my windshield and the wipers were washing as fast as the motor would allow but they were not able to keep up. The road was flooding. The lightening was flashing all around me. It was getting dark, and I was getting nervous. But as I approached the welcomed driveway to my home, I felt peace and comfort knowing I was pulling in the dry garage to waltz into my safe, dry living room out of the storm.
Proverbs 19:21 – Many are the plans in a man’s heart but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.
I am a planner. I am an organizer. I like lists. I like marking things off of my to-do lists. I’ve been known to write something on my list that I’ve already done so I can mark it off. Don’t laugh………you’ve done it, too!!
