A great big SHOUT OUT to our Bucket Buddies Intern, Erin Shafer for an amazing evening of worship and fundraising for Bucket Buddies!
Erin is a student at IUPUI and asked to be our first intern for Bucket Buddies Mission. She has set the bar so high!! Not only has she set Bucket Buddies up on social media and created “#bucketbuddies” but she has filled buckets, delivered buckets to both Riley Children’s Hospitals in Indianapolis, organized donations and most recently hosted an amazing night of worship raising over $1,200 for Bucket Buddies Mission along with a large amount of donated items to be placed in buckets.
Erin asked me if she could organize a fundraiser and boy, did she!! Our 2-hour night of worship included music from Melissa Wiggins, Staci Records and the New Point Christian Church praise team. From there we enjoyed refreshments including cookies in the shape of buckets, compliments of cookie designer and baker, Anna Grote (contact me for her information if you wish to hire her for your next event) as well as many silent auction items!
It was a night to remember inspired by Erin and blessed by God. Thank you to all who donated time, money, items, talent, energy and location to make the night a success!!
