Yesterday we went to our daughter’s white coat ceremony for the Doctorate of Physical Therapy program at her college. It was a wonderful ceremony and a great day of fun with her and her roommates and their parents and our family.

Last night I was driving home in the storm and I could not see clearly at all. The lines on the road were invisible. The rain was pounding on my windshield and the wipers were washing as fast as the motor would allow but they were not able to keep up. The road was flooding. The lightening was flashing all around me. It was getting dark, and I was getting nervous. But as I approached the welcomed driveway to my home, I felt peace and comfort knowing I was pulling in the dry garage to waltz into my safe, dry living room out of the storm. Read More
