Everyone loves Coke. It’s the “official drink of America.” The Coke® name has been around for decades.
I was thinking about the comparison of Coke and Christ.
1) Both names start with a capital “C”.
2) Coke’s famous slogan “It’s the Real Thing” is known around the world! Christ is the Real Thing and Christians near and far are trying to get people to know Him around the world.
3) Coke’s recognizable color is RED and WHITE. Christ died on the cross, shedding blood that was crimson RED and washed us WHITE as snow.
4) The Coca Cola® formula is a secret – locked away in a vault somewhere available to only a select few. The formula to know Christ is no secret. It’s not locked away but rather written down in the Holy Bible available for all to know just for the asking.
Jesus said in John 14:6 – I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
CHRIST IS THE REAL THING. So why don’t you go grab a Coke… and a friend…. and tell the secret that’s no secret at all. The secret to an eternity with Christ. Enjoy your day!
