Her sparkling smile, deep dimples and dark curly hair just melted my heart.

And man, those cowboy boots made quite the stomping sound as she glided from adult to adult while waiting for her pizza to arrive.

That little girl captured everyone’s attention with her free spirit and cuteness!

But one thing stuck with me besides the obvious.  At one time she said, “Mommy, I need you.”  “Mommy, I need you.”  “Mommy, I NEED you.”

Mommy stopped her conversation and patiently addressed Miss Adorable, wrapping her arm around her shoulder.  “What is it, honey?  What do you need?”

I have no idea what she needed.  I have no idea how the conversation continued because my mind went straight to Jesus.  How many times have we said, “Jesus, I need you” ?

Time and time again we call out.  Time and time again He patiently stops and wraps His arms around us with grace and says “What is it honey?  What do you need?”

Thank you, Lord for reminding me through the words of the most beautiful little girl, that you are right there waiting for me to admit how much I need you.

And yes I need you.  Oh how I need you.
