This morning I was doing my Bible study and I came across these verses: Psalm 47:1-2: “Clap your hands, all you nations; shout to God with cries of joy. How awesome is the Lord Most High, the great King over all the earth!”
Every morning we should get up clapping our hands and praising God for the joy of another day. We should be praising Him because he is the Lord Most High and He rules over all the earth!! If we get caught up in our every day troubles and all the trouble in our local surroundings and around the world, we will get depressed and may forget that we know the One who is in control! Keep our eyes on Jesus and nothing can take away our joy.
I know it sounds silly……..especially if you are a Baptist or conservative Christian 
……..but go to the woods outside if you need to all by yourself and clap your hands and shout to the Lord thanking Him for being in control. Tell Him how awesome He is!! It’s as easy as the Hokey Pokey – put your right hand out, then your left hand out, put them together and shake it all about!!
Maybe you’ll show up on You Tube! Just kidding………..
