I never realized how many times we use the word “UP” in phrases. What does UP even mean?
According to the Merriam Webster’s definition, UP means “from a lower to a higher place or position”. Very simple.
Today I challenge us to Step Up and Live Up. We need to pick ourselves up by the bootstraps and Stand Up. Time is of the essence and we need to Step Up for the Lord. It doesn’t matter what you’ve done or what you’re doing. Jesus loves you and wants to help you Live Up for Him. He wants us to repent of our wandering about and Get up and Grow Up and Look Up.
He stands with open arms offering forgiveness and love. Let’s Walk Up to Him and Look Up to the One who can help us Live Up to His Word.
Who’s UP for the challenge?
Psalm 143:8 – Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I lift UP my soul.
