Friends! It’s flannel and sweater weather which means it is that time of year for fall decorations, Thanksgiving gatherings and Christmas celebrations.
I always have visions of sugarplum dreams to be so organized when Thanksgiving and December rolls around, and I hear so many other people expressing the same desire.
So, I have some ideas. Let’s try to make a difference this year and get an early start. Today’s Make a Difference Tip is on decluttering your house to prepare for decorating for the holidays – fall, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
This week look at the places that really bother you. For me, it’s the laundry room where I enter into my home from the garage. It can sometimes be a catch-all. Today, I am going to clean up that area and even dig into the laundry room closet (that I am in EVERY SINGLE DAY) and make it more eye appealing.
Whatever areas are your “hot spots” that need to be tackled because you get tired of seeing the clutter, take the time this week to make a difference in a couple of those areas. Then keep it that way through the holidays. I believe in you!
I promise you that making a difference in your home will, in turn, make a difference in your heart which will make a difference in your attitude that will then make a difference in your holidays.
