I Thessalonians 5:16 – Be joyful always!
The word JOY makes me happy. It makes me want to skip!
Do you remember skipping as a child? Wasn’t that the funnest thing? Not running. Not walking. But skipping. It was simple. It made me smile. It is a reminder of being young and carefree and happy. When I think of being a child, I think of jumping rope, playing checkers, playing jacks, playing hopscotch, blowing bubbles and skipping.
Those things make me smile. Life was simple and fun. The world isn’t as simple today. Children aren’t satisfied with skipping for fun. But God is the same today as He was back then. We can still find the JOY in the simple things.
Go out and skip today. No one is watching………..and so what if they are. I bet it brings back a simple memory for them and makes them smile! So go on………….. SKIP a little.
