It was 14 years ago today that the biggest battle on the war of terrorism began in New York City. I remember where I was standing when we realized exactly what was going on. I’m sure you do, too.
I remember almost everything being cancelled around the country. Every single airport was closed. Strangers bonded together as we had a common battle to fight nationwide. This country came together not only standing tall to fight against the enemy but falling on their knees to pray for higher intervention.
We are still fighting the world-wide war on terror! But we cannot forget that we are also fighting our own war against the devil in our everyday lives. We went to see the movie War Room last night and what appropriate timing as today is 9-11. The movie is a story of a couple that is growing apart and the ways of the world are about to destroy the family unit. But the “war room” in the movie allows individuals to see the power of prayer while fighting the everyday battles and letting God win the war!
Today let us remember those families who lost loved ones in the 9-11 attack and those people who gave their lives for freedom for our country as well as those people who are fighting for us right now at this very moment.
Let us also remember to continue to “STAND TALL and kneel down” to pray flaming arrows against the devil; to never ever give up crying out to God for help with the battle; and continue to praise Him everyday as He wins a War against evil. The devil is GOING DOWN!!! GOD WILL WIN THE WAR! STAND TALL and Kneel Down!
Psalm 46:9-10 – He makes wars cease to the ends of the earth; He breaks the bow and shatters the spear, He burns the shields with fire. Be still and know that I am God! I will be exalted among the nations. I will be exalted in the earth!
