I was sitting on my patio and looked over to the window in the garage and there was a big hole in the screen. Not so long ago, I remember seeing a little tear and over time weather, wind and who knows what else has caused that little tear to grow into a big hole.
I took it to the screen repair place and a new screen will be placed on the frame. It will be good as new with no tears or gaping holes in it.
That’s how our heart is. We get a little tear in our heart from something that was done to us or someone who hurt us. Then it just keeps festering up and we become filled with bitterness, jealousy, anger and unforgiveness. Before we know it our heart is hurting so badly from being torn and ripped apart. The only way to repair it and get it “good as new” is to turn to the Lord and ask Him to heal it. Ask Him to remove the bitterness, jealousy, anger and unforgiveness. Ask Him to help repair you.
The newness will be so refreshing……….just like a crisp spring breeze flowing through a big ole window screen!
