We are ordinary people living ordinary lives.
But is that what we are supposed to be doing? Living ordinary lives?
Casting Crowns has a song titled “Thrive”.
A few of the lyrics are: “We know we were made for so much more than ordinary lives.
Its time for us to more than just survive. We were made to thrive!”
Our ordinary day may consist of the same routines. We may just be getting by. We may just be surviving. But God has made us for so much more. He doesn’t want us to just “get by”. Christians were made to do more. Christians were made to THRIVE and show non-Christians how awesome this “more than ordinary life” can be!
Give up the ordinary routine. Start your day with a daily devotional and some Bible reading. Ask God what He wants you to do today. Ask Him how each day can be just a little bit different. Ask Him how you can THRIVE!
Start today and do just ONE THING to move past “just surviving” and move into “THRIVING”! Then let me know what you did! You may just help us ALL LEARN TO THRIVE!!
