Have you ever had someone come up to you and be so glad to see you and you have no clue who they are?
Oh, you try to fake it for a few minutes but finally the blank look on your face and the discomfort of continuing the conversation with someone you don’t know overtakes the moment and you just have to ask, “WHO ARE YOU?”
Sometimes it is preceded by “I’m Sorry”……..”I’m sorry but WHO ARE YOU?” It’s embarrassing that you don’t recognize them and that you have to ask. Or how embarrassing for the other person if they thought you were someone who you weren’t and they have to say, “I’m sorry. I thought you were someone else.”
We certainly don’t want this scenario to repeat itself with Jesus. Get to know Him. Ask Him, “WHO ARE YOU?” and let Him show you. Read His word. Pray to Him. Live for Him.
Matthew 10:32-33 – Whoever acknowledges me before men, I will also acknowledge him before my Father in heaven. But whoever disowns me before men, I will disown him before my Father in heaven.
How wonderful to know if you have a relationship with Jesus that when you get to heaven He will never have to ask “WHO ARE YOU?”
