Umbrellas. I love them. I love all the pretty colors that umbrellas are made from. I like the bubble umbrellas from when I was a kid (that, by the way, are creeping their way back into popularity – but are now called “retro”)! hahahha
I love the duck-head-handled umbrellas. I love big golf umbrellas and zebra printed umbrellas that are small enough to go in my purse. I love polka-dotted umbrellas and yellow-flowered umbrellas.
If you love umbrellas, too, you may wish to celebrate National Umbrella Day with me February 10th. Who knew there was a day to celebrate umbrellas?!
We use umbrellas to protect us from the rain. We sometimes use umbrellas to protect us from the heat of the sun.
In life we have both bright, sunny days and gloomy, rainy days. God, like the umbrella, is there on both sunny and rainy days to always protect us.
The Message version of Matthew 28:20(B) says “I will be with you as you do this, day after day after day, right up to the end of the age.”
So today join me as we celebrate God’s continual protection………….. as well as bright, pretty, fun, colorful umbrellas!
