A response to someone who questions your belief in God or makes fun of you for living for Christ:

If I live for Christ and at the end of my life, I find out it was all a farce, then so be it.  Nothing lost.

But if I don’t live for Christ and don’t believe in God and I get to the end of my life and there is a heaven and a hell, it’s an eternity of torture.  It won’t end.  It’s not like a hot summer day where you know relief is coming.  It’s forever.

So I would rather live for Christ and take my heavenly chances.

“Whoever acknowledges me before others, I will also acknowledge before my Father in heaven.”
Matthew 10:32
