Psalm 139:14 – I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.
You are special. You are unique. God made you for a special purpose. Don’t compare yourself to someone else. If you constantly compare yourself to others and feel like you fall short in the comparison, then you are technically telling God that He didn’t do a good job.
Instead, today Celebrate Yourself!! Be comfortable in your own skin.
You are wonderfully made. How fun is it to celebrate birthdays, weddings, anniversaries and holidays? Celebrations bring such a happy feeling. Celebrations are good reasons to eat good food and buy fun gifts.
So today celebrate who you are – a mom, a wife, a dad, a husband, a son, a daughter, a brother, a sister, a Christian. I’m celebrating who God made me – a (gray-covered) dark-headed, 40-something-year-old mother, wife , fat-cheeked, double-chinned, happy, talkative little Colts fan. I think I’ll celebrate with some cake and ice cream and buy myself a new purse!! HAPPY CELEBRATION!
