It’s a dreary rainy fall day in southeast Indiana.  In the last 12 hours, we’ve had tornado warnings, thunderstorm warnings and flash flood warnings.  Some days our life may feel like all we have on our radar are rainy days.  Will life’s situations get any better?

Then I started thinking of all the little ways God shows Himself each day and all the things for which I have to be thankful and my five-day forecast seems to be a little sunnier!

Just this last week, I saw God show up in the smallest of ways…

All green stoplights through the busiest parts of town.
A grain bin that just needed a button pushed to reset instead of a new motor.
An hour more of sleep with the turning of the clocks.
Finding just the right Christmas gift when shopping.
A parking spot close to the door.
An umbrella.
A text that says all is well.
A hug just when I needed it most.
An answered prayer.
Cracker Barrel with a friend.
Health.
Safety.
Love.
Friendship.

God cares about YOU and all that you have to do today and all that you are going through.  When we look at the five-day forecast through our own eyes, it may seem a little gloomy.  But let the true weather man lead the way.  He created the heavens and the earth and He can make a gloomy forecast turn sunny with the snap of a finger.  All it takes is a little faith and trust and some gratitude from us to see the forecast in a different light.

What kind of sunshine can you see in your five-day forecast?
